Fell back into the public pool this morning and I snagged it.

Brings back memories of first getting on a computer as a teengager. What are your thoughts? Worth anything or simply a Nostalgic pickup?

I disagree with the above post. If you developed that and got some PR, Google would give you extra points in SERP results because of the keywords. There are still plenty of people that probably search for that book. I'd say $100.00 developer, $55.00 otherwise.

I appreciate the appraisals thus far on the name - I had hoped it would stir up a couple of interesting debates.

At this point there is no plan for development, however - considering the available free time this weekend, I very well may put up a small info site with adsense.

However, I wouldnt be opposed to a quick sale and make a few bucks.

Rep has been added for both appraisals

quick buck: mid $xx the name has obviously some history, if you have a few minutes, make a mini site and affiliate it with amazon and SEO for cook books, cooking guides. that should (hopefully) get you some bucks to the effect that you don't have to settle for mid $xx.

good luck

Mike -

Appreciate the input - I just may. I just figure if I can get a half decent offer - i'll just flip it and keep going (got my eye on a few pretty names). But I will definetly consider and rep has been added.

lol that certainly is a classic name and does remind me of my first years on the computer as well! I think someone would be willing to pay high $XX to low XXX to develop it on their own, because it is such a great name to develop imo - other than that, im sure you would have no problem on a quick flip for around XX

good catch!

As is, I could see it fetching mid $XX, but I feel you should develop it with some of the better info in the Anarchist Cook Book. I know I've found myself searching for it. ;)

Giddy + Travis -

I appreciate both of your inputs, this name is getting a lot of attention, and its always nice to find something like that. Most likely within the next 24-48 hours I would love to put up an information site with Adsense. I will probably find some cool little tricks and post them on the site.

I will consider offers, but I think I will be looking for low xxx on this one, Its an already branded name, now it just needs someone to fill it with a little content.

Justin

PS - Rep Added!!!

The .biz, .us, and .mobi ext's are also available. Maybe you should register those as well. .mobi could be used to check out the book on your cell phone. :lala:
