the "masses" , "laymen" & "endusers" .tv seems to be getting stickier by the day outside the world of domainers. We've seen evidence of $ domain sales trending upwards - does anyone here know how to calculate total number of monthly new registrations by extension for the last few months for 'general' ( for want of a better term by a newbie ) non .com domains?

Personally I think we saw a big spike in sales when Verisign sold off all the premiums, and those sales levels are now declining back somewhere close to historical sales levels (ie a couple of sales each week reported by dnjournal).

The aftermarket matters to pretty much everyone here.

I agree. The aftermarket in any extension matters to anyone who follows it closely, whether it be .Tv .com or .whatever.

What really matters to the rest if the world is that they get their internet TV - their visual internet...

...and if this is catered for, and appears more natural to both web users and web creators via the .TV extension then that's great.

Proof, they say, is in the pudding - and I see televisual internet being used on .TV more and more every day AND I never have to explain what a .TV is anymore - people just know and accept it for what it is.
