An Idea for Proxy Webmasters

I was at work today looking for a proxy to avoid a web filter. Unfortunately, the filter had also been set to block proxy websites. It took me a long time to find a proxy website that worked.

My guess is the filter was blocking websites with the word "proxy". I don't know if my situation is unique or not, but it might be a good idea for proxy websites to avoid using the word "proxy". Network admins aren't stupid, you know.

No, maybe just use word pr0xy or something instead.

Try using Tor. If your admin is anal enuf, he's blocked Tor's node indexing server, but thres a good chance he hasn't.

Alternatively, use something like hamachi or OpenVPN to connect back to your home net and route "restricted" traffic thru there.
