a eye is a republican/billionaire agenda.
they don’t want regulations, guardrails or anything that stifles that process

remember what they tried to add in the bbb bill that congress passed, before it was blocked in the senate?

Regulations about using Artificial Intelligence are very difficult to make.
Already now it might even be the case that politicians make their speeches by means of AI.
So the consequence could even be, that the laws which would regulate AI, will be created by AI.
