Amazing, parked page with high Google rank for keyword term

I just checked Google for a popular keyword term. This is a keyword with very high search volume.

I was amazed to see a parked domain in the first page of results. This was a pure keyword .net.

After checking I found this was a 6 years old domain, with ZERO backlinks.

I guess this shows the value of keyword domains and/or aged domains, even .net domains. Or maybe I am missing something?

If you look really hard at the site, and the cache it looks like somebody is cloaking. If they really it it won't only not last long it might get the entire domain banned for a long time.

What is "Cloaking" and how can you tell that it's cloaked? :red:

Showing one page to google and another page to the user.

i don't see it on the front page anymore.
plus the cache is now of a parked page too.

It's the process of showing page A to say Googlebot ad page B to a surfer. It sometimes gets you higher in the rankings.

I don't know if the parking company did it or the owner of the doman.

I checked domain NS and it's not a cloaked domain...
