Both Webalizer and AWstats come free with many web-hosting services and are excellent stats programs which are server-based and do not need any coding on your webpages, which is anpther advantage over Analytics.

+1 for awstats. I prefer it over webalizer. I prefer not to give 3rd parties my stats.
