Only Islamic sites could be developed using this domain. It is really nice domain because of growing number of Islamic Sites.

It's just that with this sort of name (religious), the .org and .com work best. If it was allah.in, that would be worth a lot more.

A very sacred name for us

Allah is being searched alot lately. This domain however, has a few drawbacks. Its a .co.in when india has moved onto .in, but turning it into a religious site or an informative site could be helpful, though you can really put up ads or make much revenue from sucha name, but you will get alot of traffic.

I agree with you Iravan that .co.in is as powerful as .in. Some people keep stating that India has moved on to the .in. However, I haven't seen any proof of this. The only thing I have seem is 2 or 3 good $x,xxx sales of a .in. It is still early in the stage of sales for .in's, and .co.in's. I don't think these few sales of the .in means India has moved on.

I am not too sure that gulf countries would use a .in/.co.in (perhaps I am mistaken)

I understand its difficult to appraise, and appreciate all comments and feedback

I guess he is referring to the fact that as most muslims are in the GUlf, hence the target market would be the gulf. I dont want to start a political discussion here, but i dont know why whenever it comes to muslims the whole world think of the arab world! Muslims are every where, India Pakistan have ALOT of m,uslims and so do Indonesia and Turkey (all non arab countries.)

Anyways, being a Muslim, i would like the domain to be used fairly and appropriately Wish you best of luck with the domain!
