All these seemingly recent problems with unethical domainers, I thought Id share a good story. I am giving away a bunch of domains I don't plan on renewing. In my haste, I accidentally transferred two domains to someone on NamePros. I transferred the one they wanted, plus a mid $XXXX name. This person is VERY new here with only a couple posts, and no reputation to loose. After screaming at my monitor once I realized my screw up, I PM'd him and asked him to reject the transfer. Unfortunately, it was too late and he had already accepted both names. I was wondering if i'd ever see my domain again. But, with no hassles or problems, he promptly responded again and sent the name back to me. I was thrilled, and it just shows that not everyone in this industry is a douche. I also know I got lucky and will be more careful to do one thing at a time from now on.Thanks!!!!!!!

Very unfortunate and sad.

Always double check the domains you push. Also note down current whois information of the receiver so that in future if he come back on namepros in another account or so, you try to get it back.

Not sad at all, lol. @cocaseco you got lucky and it goes to show there really are some good/honest people in this business. I agree that you should be sure to give that person an iTrader rating, especially since they're new and could probably use it. Great story!

This is awesome. It all comes down to character and being a righteous person. If the would have kept the names it would have been on bad karma going forward. He did the right thing and although this is not the case with everyone it is a good lesson learned.
