There is a post in the available names section saying that there are only about 2000 3 character .nets left. Conventional wisdom would be that those would go first, for what that is worth. A medium/high roller could clear either out very easily.
There are more names but the good ones are gone
Just to understand the volume, the total 3 char name combinations that contain letters and numbers is : 46656 domain names
There are still some available but I just searched around 10 bad 3 character .infos eg x0q.info, z4q.info and they all appear to have been registered by the same person earlier this month at RegFly - did they have a free .info day or something?
Would be interesting to see how many they registered - I'm guessing by the very small sample I tested that they must have registered 1000s so it must have cost them a bit even at that price. Think they're going to have a tough time selling random 3 character .infos in that kind of bulk and I guess they're not going to get type-ins either so even making $0.60 per name back through parking over the course of a year might be tough... Good luck to whoever did it anyway
Did the full run...
654 Available out of 46,655 scanned.
Most were reg'd by the same user using a few co names.
Looks like .60 info promo rather than domain tasting, but we'll be able to tell in a week.
