I'm a Chinese seller.
To be honest.
I doubt that Chinese will use that long domains like yours or not.
I search some domains just now.
A smart guy got a Alipuke.com yesterday.
Chinese pinyin "puke" means "poker".
most gamblers in China know few English.
Anyway, Good Luck
Nice idea although I'm not sure if the loophole in the game will escape regulators.
I snagged learntoplay(dot)poker the other day.
I already got
POLKER.com

nice...how to match your domain with MatchPoker ?
if ali would like to invest poker, they will consider alipoker as the first choice.
puke is chinese pinyin, but it is not common use,we like to use "PAI"
International Federation of poker site explains match poker rules:
pokerfed.org/match-poker/
the same organization owns domain MatchPoker.net
MatchPoker.com has person from LasVegas owner of kenobriensports.com
I am sure that Mr Obrien will eithet develope the domain...or sell if receive BIG MONEY.
No. Unlike English. Chinese Pinxin "Ali" can represent several meanings.
He may explain "Alipuke" into Lily poker.
Li can mean a girl's name "Lily"
If he uses alibabapuke ..he may in big trouble.
But ,Alibaba will not care it .cause it;s too long .no company will use it.
That's just my opion.

pai ,there are many meanings ,auction ,bid ,knock down, poker card, brand, ranking, hmmm can you please expand on this? sounds like you know alot. So Pai=Poker? so what does Paigow Poker translate to?
Poker Gow Poker? lol just asking seriously. so what does PaiGow Translate to?
whoa! just worried me there a sec. Completely did not even bother to check if "match poker" was trademarked. It's not! Thank God! lol because I registered MatchPoker.bet and PokerMatch.bet
I think I'm going to get a call shortly from MatchPoker.net? maybe? or am I daydreaming? lol
lol when you win at Match Poker? You dance the Polka! now that's Polker.com!
Don't get too excited. Alibaba is a big and profitable company which is higly unlikely to risk with loopholes, gamblig is seen as pure evil in most of Asia and China is quite conservative in general.
Zinga for instace is also having a poker game (facebook and app). While gambling is not allowed in either Facebook and Apple and Google's app stores. How it happens? Well, technically it is considered gambling when you bet money and can lose and win them. So if you don't play with money, it is OK. You can buy avatars, accesoaries, additional diamonds/coins/whatever, but you can not witdraw or monetarize the wins. Which naturally turns off the real gamblers who are used to put money on the table and leave with less or more real money. Yeah, you can have a popular app with tons of users, but it does not mean that it will make more money per user than let's say Fermarama.
Also tenically users might be able to trade virtual assets on eBay etc. for real cash like other games (if the assets and proflies are transferrable), but they would hardly be the ones who will put money into the game. Personally I expect Alibaba to do something like that (non-gambling form as stated). It can be some good traffic generator for them, winners can receive coupons for shopping... something like that.
Which does not mean that you can not profit by advertising on blogs teaching how to play if the market is big enough.
Affiliating to actual casinos and poker roms.... not so brght idea. Serious ones take measures not to allow users from places where such things are illegal - the licensing is serious and some big ones were severely hit for allowing users from a place where their use became illegal like on previous day (I mean USA). As affliate you get money when they deposit such which might be impossible from China.
