Alexa Going Mad

Are they changing their algo or sytem or something?
Seems like the alexa rank is different with the official Alexa site. :zzz:
Example:namepros.com
I am using my site pr-checker.net and also other tools they are saying namepros.com is ranked alexa 27,700 but the official site
http://www.alexa.com/data/details/traffic_details/namepros.com
says Namepros is ranked 46K.
I know they are not that important but just curious. :ghost:

27,700 is 1 week average or of 3 days.

While 46K is 3 months average.

You will see different alexa rank on WHOIS.SC too if you check WHOIS of some domain name.

i think they're being influenced by people with browsers that have alexa toolbar on it. i think safest to say is se are changing their algo's all the time to escape some tweaking people do with their sites.

I am not sure but I don't really think so. Before this the rank was different. Anyway the week rank is currently below 20K at alexa.com
yup, their losing their marbles. :D

Google Trends is more reliable data.
(though I wish Alexa would be able to become more realistic and reliable)

I don't use the Alexa toolbar, nor does anyone I know.
