Alexa Backlink is not updating from 2 weeks...? Any reason?

[melinajordan]

it is updating on a daily basis, how can you say that its being not updated?

There are blogs with Google page rank 4 or 5 with a good amount of traffic, but their alexa rank is still very low, because alexa has nothing to do with Google page rank or the number of visits or visitors.alexa considers traffic originating from browsers installed with alexa toolbar only. traffic from browsers without alexa toolbar do not come under alexa ranking algorithm.

I always thought that the bigger Alexa rank the worse. Is it wrong?

I couldn't understand.

However, lower the Alexa rank, higher the traffic of a website should have.

You have a lot of tricks at your disposal when it comes to increasing your Alexa rank, but few of them are as easy and rewarding (results in days) as this one. With a couple of minutes each day, you can quickly increase your Alexa traffic rank while creating backlinks at the same time.

I don't see any reason why your alexa backlink is not updating. It should have updated daily by lower or higher traffic.
