I think you guys should add like an AIM, MSN, and/or Yahoo Messenger field in profiles so people can contact users on NP a lot easier than waiting for a PM.
Anyone agree that this would be a great idea?
The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
These fields are actually added, as you can obviously see in your User CP, however, the profile page is in the works and a few fields arn't showing.
I made a post about this a while ago, and I was actually going to make another one soon to sort the fields out. It's very handy being able just to scoup up someone's contact from their profile. Saves a PM to them, as it may take a while to get a reply.
Yes its way easier. Sometimes people dont put it up and i was close to taking it down because of people starting to spam me but I think it would still be much easier.
EVen though you will get spammed, they are still IMing you for a reason. And if they are just to annoy you... we have that handy dandy block button lol

Sorry, Anthony. I'll post a small explaination in my next PM.
You did ask a valid question, but if you read what I said in my first post, you'll note that the profile page is in the works, basically meaning the fields have been taken away probably due to testing of the new page that I hope is soon to come.
Could we possibly get some information back from the mods/admin about this profile page matter? I understand it may not be at the top of the list, but it's been sitting the same for a good while now...
Adding a profile page would be awesome. It would help so many people out. And people could contact other people for domain name transactions or design offers and people could be contacted much much easier than waiting for a PM or a reply to a thread.
The AIM/MSN screen names were previously listed on profiles, but I removed it after multiple abuses by spammers who were using it to find anyone with a AIM name listed and message them to see if they wanted to buy their names or even names that didn't belong to them..
I have no control of this yet received a lot of complaints that this was happening.
