AIM Bots

Hey. Im looking to write a relatively simple AIM Bot.

I once tried to us the net::aim perl module, but could not find any example code to see if I even installed the module right.

So basically, my question is: can anyone help with aim bot creation in any way.

Links to resources, code, etc would be greatly appreciated.

Apparently Net::AIM hasn't been developed in a while and as such has been "replaced" by Net::OSCAR. Don't quote me on this, it's just something I seem to remember. It might be worth looking into.

I know there's some basic (albeit messy and very incomplete) PHP code around which connects to the AIM network with the ability to send and receive messages. Unfortunately, I can't remember the URL. I found it through a quick Google search a few months back.
