i am neither a lawyer nor play one on TV so take this with a grain of salt, but you also need make sure you don't use it in a potentially confusing/infringing manner.
for example.
if you were Joe Toyota and you registered toyota.tv before Toyota existed and used it for Joe Toyota family site you are probably OK
If all of the same holds and then you started putting a toyota lead gen page on it, then it gets a lot fuzzier if you appear like you are trying to trade on confusion regarding who you are representing.
Generally you are in the clear, your registration date is prior to their filing. Besides its not against the law to own a tm domain - however using it in bad faith is. Usually if you have a tm domain they only hunt you down if you are in someway abusing their name, like trying to sell competitors products or pass your site off as their official site in an atempt to profit from their name, product or slogan etc.
Even then, they almost always send you a preliminary letter asking you to reliquish the domain to them... don't ask how I know.
They haven't made an offer, I'm sure they were disappointed when they saw that tveverywhere domains were all parked pages. Probably why they decided to go for a trademark. I wonder what Turner and Comcast have to say about that since they coined the phrase.
Since I am a strong believer in the .tv domains, I thought it would make for a great .tv reseller site, you know .tv everyhwere, but I would only want to sell .tv's. Maybe combine it with a reseller site for turnhere.tv.
