domain AGRICULTURE.WS ***Advice please***

Well I have just completed a few days worth of work an compiled a keywords list etc. I seen this name was available to be registered and well after researching a little I decided to pick the name up. Well I'd like to know how you would value this domain?

I know before any comments the ".ws" degrades the value and such but with a keyword with 800k exact searches a month I couldn't just let it sit there. Call me crazy but I think this domain is actually very good and above par in my book...now the question how does it fair in your book???

I have a couple of nice .ws like this one. So far I have only received reseller offers (highest ones were $80 to $100ish). Based on my previous offers and how strong this is, I would say quick flip $20 - $50, flip to reseller $20 - $100, Nice offer I would take would be low $$$ to mid $$$ (more would be nice ) Good luck with it.

I own a few .ws domains after doing kw research like yourself and I picked up a dandy called Techniques.ws. It also has a high search volume (millions). I put it up for appraisal here and other sites and got shot down straight away. However...

After 6 months of testing, I have subdomains with this domain and it is ranking higher than some .com counterparts on Google. To me, it seems as though there's NO difference whether the extn is a .com or .tom! Content content content!

In saying this, I think you should test your domain's potential as well. Try adding some sub-domains that are searched highly also and see how it goes? I think you may be surprised!

Keep up the faith in your purchase as I think it has potential. As for values? No idea! Good luck!:hehe:

At the end of the day keywords do matter in SERPS. You have an advantage in search engine for the keyword so it can do well. Only problem is the market has not opened up much for .ws
Higher end user sales go upto mid xxx. Reseller is low to high xx only.

it is a keyword that can be easily developed, regarding reseller value, high offer may be unlikely, development and getting good rankings should help it gain affiliate money and or substantial offer.

too good a keyword to avoid even in .ws.

Flip it, unless you love agriculture. Even then, you face whatever the Western Samoan gov't (2 big guys in Hawaiian shorts and Bermuda shorts) decides to do with it.

If you develop it, it would have to be a massive site with lots of work. The domain itself is marginal here. Do you the time, resources, interest? If you have all of these, do you want to invest them in a .ws, with the risk of a tiny and unreliable government doing something...er, unreliable?

Maybe $100 at most if you flip?

If you has beaches.ws, you might be on to something.
