Nothing special, pretty generic, but they have this version now!

Well then they need to hire more brokers, if they are going to spending more time following up inquiries most of which are not going to convert, but will cost a lot of time.

There is this, about how they introduced a different version in June 2017

which is months lol, not "years" but still - they modified them just recently, hence the new emails I just received today. Or the older version(s) is/are apparently still available too.

They have had some form or other of landing page for while, but the "new" version eight months ago, and another new version today.

So, yes, these are Afternic's new sales landing pages.

They claim they get on the horn with each inquirer. If so, that is something. If all they do is email, well - not so remarkable.

Those new landers have been used for years, for cross partner lead generation, say if you clicked on a price request link from domaintools, you would come to this same page.

I guess they just opened it up for private portfolios, much what domain name sales did a few years back with their broker team, who are mainly in place to handle their own portfolio, but in the downtime, and crossfire they are able to catch commissions on customer lead followups. They are tapping that same source so to speak, and they will do well with it, because are they part of the Godaddy family, which carries a lot of trust with buyers who trust the brand as they have seen, and heard of it.

4 times in 48 hours, which is borderline harassment.

i started to domain few years ago.. and knew abotu them then..
but again, I am refering to lander in your top post.

which i just their standard old contact fill in form.

however if you are talking about the link you just posted aboive, then yes, this does look new..

at least I've never see it before.. and it does kinda look nice..

but this is their dns redirect parked page.. minus the ads... and I do not park with them.

very nice though.. I like it!

If Afternic intents to expand the brokerage services for MakeOffer domains - they might want to look into what Uniregistry does:

- transparent negotiations. Showing the broker-buyer communications to a seller. The sellers ability to send comments to a broker is nothing but helpful. And, since the seller knowingly elected to outsource the process to 3rd party professinal brokers, there is no basis to guess that the sellers would be trying to deal with the buyers directly (so there would be no lost commissions to afternic)

- geo-targeted landers

If Afernic intents to provide landers for BIN domains - then these landers are not good, as there is no BIN button with a price shown. Again, the landers must be geo-targeted. Even GoDaddy website itself supports a bunch of languages and currencies, why not to implement the same at Afternic?

In both cases, there is no evidence shown that each and every visitor / potential buyer will SEE the page. There are a lot of reports right on this forum that afternic is not accessible or shows 403 error. Which is caused by traffic over-filtering. Filtering content-grabbing bots and wp-login requests etc is a must, but, currently, afternic also frequently denies legitimate human traffic.

Are there any examples of how these landers look? Great move if the landers are high converting.

An example they've shared with the email.
