As you surely know, that's typically the type of domain where the value lies in development.

It isn't a bad domain in itself and I definitely see what you were thinking about when registering it, but I'm not sure it could be worth much, unless you find a motivated buyer, as always...

Something that's interesting is that it's relatively old (6 years), so I'm wondering... How much type-in traffic does it get ?

I would tend to say that you could try and develop it, but I guess you probably don't really have time for it because of your other projects.

I've just had a look at Namebio (which you might have heard about... lol).
Actually the only quite similar sale that I could find was hobbies-place.com which sold for $360 on TDNAM.

IMHO affordablehobbies.com is a bit better because of the lack of hyphen and the niche potential it has. But as you can see, domain sales in that kind of name are few and far between.

If you've already tried to sell it for quite some time without any success, I would say that it might be a good idea to simply drop it.

Thanks Michael,

Ive had some debate with this one. I just couldn't decide. I like it - but Im not seeing this one go for any serious dollars. I would love to develop, but ive got a hundred better domains that need development as well.

This one is aged because I grabbed it at TDNAM last year.

I don't think people look for hobbies based on their cost. I think they find the hobby first and then go looking for information about it. So I don't see much development potential either.

To me, there is no such thing as "affordable hobbies"...The most "expensive" hobby I've ever heard of was collecting racing cars and jewelry, everything else beside that I consider affordable. Even with the limited budget you can still afford pretty much any hobby you want nowdays. Its unlikely that many people are searching for "affordable hobbies" on line. With this said, I don't think its worth the development, IMO.

I don't see it pay off in parking, my guess is you don't make much in that way. My immediate thought was development , but as you said you have others in line. Sell it to someone you know here that will put it to good use, or get as much as you think you can even if it's a reseller.
