time for a dumb question, but thats what this newbie part is for right? i currently have 90% of my domains parked with sedo. im not making much (pennies!) money with parked sites. i have a few sites with over 50 hits month. id like to try an affiliate program. do you have to have a developed website? (i guess id just like some info or feedback on affiliate programs.) my sites deal primarily with mortgages, real estate, and law. thanks, sam

You do need a website to use affilliate programs, but that is easier to set up than you may think. There are a range of options available, but here are two to consider.

For example, some people on this forum claim to have had success using WhyPark.com. For a modest outlay they will give you a developed site with affiliate ads in place, for you to make money from.

Alternatively, why don't you consider developing your own site and monetize it yourself. This is the route to long term profits, for most people, in my opinion. Consider building simple 'minisites' of 3 - 10 pages to start off with - is not hard. Use Google Adsense, as sort of affilliate program, to make money from your sites. It is an excellent and easy to use revenue stream and many people ( after a lot of hard work!) can earn a full time income from Adsense alone.

Good luck

Does whypark.com earn a % of income or do they get a % of equity in your domain? That sounds like it might be a good plan for those who are too busy to do it themselves.

Does anyone want to share their experience with whypark.com?
