Anyone know if this is permitted by Google AdWords?
There is often discussion about an AdWords click being redirected to an affiliate's product page, rather than one's own URL; this is generally regarded as prohibited, correct?
But I hear talk that the "displayed URL" after the click must match (or be close to) the URL on the AdWords ad. So here's the question:
1) Suppose your domain is "Me.com", and is at the bottom of your AdWords ad. The affiliate product page URL is "Product.com/affil=Me".
2) You go to your domain registrar and do a redirect so that even if someone goes to Me.com and ends up at Product.com/affil=Me, their browser bar would still display Me.com.
Is this allowed -- or not allowed -- by Google AdWords?
Any help will be appreciated.
