and even the domain king himself Rick Schwartz from time to time. Just stick to .com, .net and .org until you get a grip on it but mainly .com

I dont want to put a downer on things but...

In my opinion, someone who posts such a broad question as "how do I go about it" is destined to fail.

The large part of any success is being able to use your initiative and find things for yourself. This idustry is so big with so many different areas, subjects and niches that there is no one, correct answer to the question.

Having said that, I wish you all the success in the world.
