Advice needed

I want to start a website to sell all my domain names.
I have come up with www.OkDomainSales.com
Is this a good name for this venture,or is there a better term I could use than "domain sales"???

i really second the opinions many of them made. "Ok" implies, not fantastic, mediocre. and it doesnt sound very brandable too. however if your domain portfolio is really good, it weighs out the need for a good domain.

i suggest .com brandable domain for your portfolio.

Well, it looks like you have two chance:
- Look for a strictly domains related domain name or..
- Look for a catchy and brandable 5L-6L .com domain name.

I wouldn't exclude the 2nd chance, if you build a web 2.0 site, with all those nice styles etc, a catchy 5L.com could be the right choice.

I forgot to mention there are still a lot of good .ca's left in this area. I've got a list of unregistered ones somewhere. PM if you want me to dig them up.

Ok Ok,Ok is not a good term for this endeavour..I do own sunnyOk.ca anyways
Some excellent advice I always search for words that describe content as newbies may not understand dn something means domain names.
I have had good offers of names in wanted section and some awesome advice here,been also looking at popular domain sites to see what words they use.
Could not find to many with namesales.com or domainsales.com
ex. okdomainsales.com

People do you think it would be a liability if i used the .ca extension?
I got some killer .ca's wating or should i stick with .com?

Not that easy to go out and find something like that alot of other people have already had this idea.Of course would be the best.Hard to find a .com period let alone one like qualitydomains or globaldomains so ya would like to have domains.com make life simple but its taken too.

How about a LLLL.com begins with dn???

Would people outside canada be turned off by,example domainsales.ca because of the .ca extension,or think it has only todo with canada?

Naturally I'm biased. I don't think the .ca hurts at all. I have a chosen a .ca for my new portfolio site and business name. It doesn't have either "domain" or "name" in it.

My theory is that the word "domain" is only relevant to domainers. The vast majority of my prospects don't know what a domain is or associate that word with cybersquatting or something nefarious. A non-industry enduser might prefer a brandable or otherwise generic name.

If you insist on "domains" and dot com, try the yellow pages trick:
AAADomainNames dotcom
AAQualityDomains dotcom
AGlobalNames dotcom
etc,etc.

I did some brainstorming and found some decent names,me thinks.

yes i like "domain" in it.No,Ok No Sales,well a couple I own have sales but I am letting them go cheep,gonna have a huge clearance sale soon get rid of all this crap thanks for all your input,eh

IMO stay away from the OK (buyers want great domains, premium domains or quality domains, but not ok domains) and .CA will limit your customer base somewhat. I would be hesitant to buy from a site that is not .Com or .Net. As others have suggested, post in the Domains Wanted section with a decent enough budget to attract some quality domains. If you can think of a catchy phrase and the .COM is in parking, a .Net domain could work well.

I actually went from a 2 word to a 3 word domain as I preferred the image the 3 word domain portrayed, bottom line if your domains are quality you could put them on DogShitDomains and they will still sell, I would still try to get something a little stronger than "ok" though

hmmmm OkDomain sales doesnt sound much good. i think you should think any other domain name which sounds funky so that people can remember it
