This is a bunch of nonsense. It is just someone playing games.
According to WHOIS the domain has been renewed.

If you go to the domain in the browser, it takes you to a page with a $381,000 BIN.

Why can't Dynadot change the expiry auction timetable so that when a domain hits expiry auction it cannot be renewed by paying normal renew fee anymore.

People don't have so much time to waste bidding for hours on auction and paying for it only to get notified next day that domain has been renewed and we have refunded you.

It's a messed up broken system that ironically benefits domainers who want to gauge the market value of their names.

Yes, that price simply doesn't make sense.
