Adult .NETs

i was just searching for some good adult domains , all good .com domains are gone , but there are a handful of good .net domains left.
does the .net have a value in the adult domain field

yes, for seo improvement results, if nothing else. but if they are really good generic names, then you can probably expect some type-ins.

If it's a good one, don't hesitate to get it. You never know when the .com might generate more revenues, and turnaround and offer you a nice price for it!

Generic, descriptive, short ".NET" domains have value, "Adult" sector, or otherwise, IMHO. I'm not sure of the specific handful you're addressing here, but I do agree with the search engine usefulness/potential above, as mentioned.
Be selective ... and be sure to check out variations of the domains you plan on one day registering, as folks with the similar/like ".ORG's" (shame on them, right? ) or below could one day be your potential suitors. Obviously, the "Adult" segment will pay to get optimized, more eyeballs.

I've found the .NET (and .ORG) extensions to work just as well as .COM for both adult and non-adult sites.

The only real factor with .NET is fewer "type-ins" - visitors who simply type your address in to the browser just to see if a site is there (this type of traffic seems to convert into sales very well). People will general try typing www.domains.com before they try www.domains.net, so you can expect fewer type-ins with a .NET

However, most domains that generic were registered a long time ago. In terms of Search Engine Optimization, .NET and .ORG are just as good as .COM

The bottom line is that if you can't get the .COM, why not get the .NET?

If it's any reassurance, I recently paid a four-figure amount for an adult .NET with type-ins because I know that I can convert the traffic into $$$, irrespective of the .NET extension
