I am new to the world of domaining and began getting curious about the world of domaining when it comes to adult domains.

What are the pro's, con's, and just general advice?

Generally speaking:
It's a difficult niche: adult webmasters often use low quality/disposable domains, thus they usually won't pay a lot for good domains. They usually buy .com/.net only (they generally dislike .xxx), preferably domains with traffic => this is your best bet.
