Adult DNs ... How do they stack up to the rest?

I couldn't get much of a response in the adult section so I thought I'd try general DN Discussion.


I was wondering how the adult name market is compared to others, in sells and registrations and what not... Would a really catchy one word adult DN sell well?

I am curious because there are a few available names I kind of want to reg. but don't really want to be throwing more money away.

Any comments?

Premium one words still catch a pretty penny; sex.net just sold for 450k.

I sold two 10 letter 2 word names last year for 1,000 and 1,500, this year a few good ones for a couple hundred a piece and a bunch at $100. I don't really deal with adult names anymore, but they will definitely catch a good price if premium as that market makes money so they have the money to spend on them.

like casino or gambling names, I can not use adsense nor yahoo. Tried adrite, not working well either.

I wonder if, now that it is harder for these types of sites to advertise, there will be a decline? Although it seems everyone finds a loophole.

as it gets harder to advertise, names that dont get type in will decline but names that get type in will increase alot
