Do you install something that block ads ? Some Firefox add ons could help you remove the ads from the page you see.
Try using different browser and use proxy to browse the site
No, nothing installed or running to block ads; it's only adsense that doesn't show up; other feeds (like Clicksor) show up on sites, as do affiliate ads from Amazon and Commission Junction and others. It's only affecting Adsense. Note that I didn't download anything or make any changes to any settings. The adsense just 'stopped showing up' on websites, for me.
I guess I'm not that worried - as long as my sites still have adsense on them showing up for others, and are making income - but it's a
little worrisome figuring out if this is a symptom of a serious problem with my 'puter. I had thought virus, or cookie, or activex, but it doesn't seem to be any of these. Which leaves me scratching my noggin, since I'm not running any adblockers

this happens to me occasionally. just so you know you're not alone :D
though I'm not really sure what sets this.
For you, did it just 'get better' on its own, or did you do something to fix it? Thanks...

The plot thickens:
all of a sudden this morning, whenever I click on a category link or post link here at Namepros, this window goes to that new page, but another window pops under (ignoring my pop-up blocker) that comes up with a blank page, with the following URL (spaces inserted so it would not become a link):
http : // .trafficrevenue.net/?ad=1286378407
I checked trafficrevenue.net and it's a fly-by-nighter. In addition to the blank page at that URL, another window pops under with a random ad.
So with the adsense disappearing for me yesterday, and now these pop-unders happening whenever I click a link at namepros (but doesn't happen when I click links at any other forum), whatta I got? I have to assume the two events are related. Some malicious adware? And how does it get by my Norton, which I keep updated to the latest? If Norton doesn't show it, how can I check on what is happening?
Any help is appreciated
