Ads on phpbb forum?

I have the website http://www.obstacle1.com and I'm currently using the phpbb forum and I want to know if I can get my google ads on the bottom or top of the forum pages that I have on my splash page? I know I have seen them and I was wondering if anyone knew of any mods? I looked at the phpbb.com website under mods but couldnt find anything that I was looking for. If anyone knows of anything please respond asap. Thanks, Andrew.

You don't need any mods as you just have to edit either header or footer template of the style and add your google code.

Hi Andrew - It's actually against Googles TOS to have adsense on 'non-content' pages such as splash pages, registration etc.

Actually the proper place to put them in phpbb is in viewforum_body.tpl, viewtopic_body.tpl, not in overall_header.tpl or overall_footer.tpl. The reason for that is because otherwise they show up on thank you pages and other pages that are against the TOS.

When I applied for the google ads they accepted me with only a splash and forum. Thanks for the tips guys I'll see what I can do.
