Will Microsoft Crush Adobe ?

Adobe’s chief executive officer Bruce Chizen told the German magazine Euro that his company is providing the EU commission information about Microsoft’s plans to offer the capability to export documents to PDF files in its upcoming Office 2007 package. However, the executive did not rule out the possibility that Adobe will sue Microsoft over the feature

I have made a same post on my blog too.

seems as adobe would have an agreement with microsoft so MS could use it....But it really doesn't matter....MS could buy adobe in about one minute...Microsoft has pure money power....i would rather be friends with them than enemies if i owned a company.

They probably couldn't buy them due to competition regulation.

Microsoft already owes the EU commission a few hundred million as well :p

I doubt Microsoft can buy Adobe.. It's too much of a direct competition.

I don't know about any of you but it was bad enough when Adobe bought Macromedia.

I DEFINITELY don't want to see a Microsoft Flash 2007 if you know what I mean..

I fail to see the point in upsetting MS, the majority of the world uses MS products and if MS incorporates this feature into their software it will only be free advertising for Adobe. Why hasn't Adobe gone after the other software companies who have created software for this very reason...they must feel threatened. It's not wise to burn your bridges.

i see no reason for adobe to go against microsoft..
i am sure microsoft could bring out software that would be alot better than adobe's products
especially if they were installed by default on vista
