Easily changing the navigation bar, without doing it to every page! Help me

Hi there guys,

Im just new to these forums.. But I have made websites for a while.. Im only 16.. Now this is the website... homepage.. just so you guys know what im talking about.

http://www.freewebs.com/nzgametrader/index.htm

Now on the left can you see the products?? I want to make it easier to add more pages etc. I have done it a REAL long way.. and I know theres easier ways!! Can somebody give me some info? I have microsoft acess.. and frontpage.. but acess looks hard and I wud rather not use that unless I HAVE to!

I want to add more items to the navigation bar. By just typing it on lets say the index.htm page. and then it will change all of them for me. I know this can be done.

Thanks alot
Sparky

A simple PHP include would allow you to do this easily.

k

cut the NAV BAR code and paste it in a new file
name it navbar.txt

now in your page..where the navbar is suppose to be
add
<?PHP
include('navbar.txt');
?>

Notice: for this to work you MUST change ur file extension to .PHP

Best advice I can give ,
1/ Only use your new Hosting Service and Forget FreeWebs
2/ Forget using FrontPage for PHP coding
3/ Find on Google or Yahoo ,info on using a PHP Based CMS like Mambo,Post-Nuke,Phpnuke, typo3 or Whatever else is available
4/ Most of the above CMS packages are available already on most hosting services or can be installed easily
5/ Coding your web-site then will be easier
