ok, i don't know where else to post this so sorry. im completly new and have just created my first forum. discusser.org.

ok, as said. i've tried asking on the godaddy forum but they're very slow and every post must be held for moderation before you can view it...

so, i've made a favicon and formated it and such. now i just have to upload it to the root folder, right?

problem is, i have no root folder... or so it seems. i don't know if the HTML folder is the same as the root folder.

godaddy said that there would be a file dedicated for the favicon, but i havent found anything... all i see is my forum folders...

i don't know if all this made any sense but if it does, please help me.

i've tried almost everything... :(

and exuse my bad enlgish, im not from the states.

I put mine in the public_html folder.

Depends though, I have one from years ago and I had
to add a line of text in the header.
Similar to this
<link rel="shortcut icon" href="http://www.yourdomainnamehere.com/favicon.ico" />

You can add it on your index.html page, at the top either above or below where you have your meta tags

they look like this...generally, and this is wrapped in the header tags.
<meta http-equiv="content-type" " />
<meta http-equiv="description" ">
<meta http-equiv="keywords" ">

Inbetween the <head> tags

Hope this helps :)
