Hello Fellas,

Tell me please, is it worth reg'ing a .com five or six letter acronym, because it is pronounceable and "catchy"?

Five or six letters seems a little longer for an Acronyms, I would incline to red 4-5 letters catchy Acronyms!

If your planning to develop it i'd say yes, if your hoping to resell thats an entirely different ball game.

i dun think it is worth it...five six is too large.

Do you already have a meaning for it? If so, I'd say go for it. Pronouncable and meaningful acronyms are the best kind.

Good idea! BUT if you are reselling it you will have to wait for the right end-user interested in your acronym, if he ever comes! :imho:
(Depends on the meaning of it)

unfortunately, many of the four five and six letter names are pure acronyms, and although pronounceable and "catchy", have no literal meaning.
A couple of "meaningful" examples would be appreciated..thanks.

Well...For example, TOEFL.com is a great Pronouncable and meaningful acronym for (Test of English as a Foreign Language).
Can you think of some names like that :lol:
