Today I've received an email proposing me to park one of my domains with Aceads.com . Never heard about them before.

I highlight this part of the email: "after you have parked the domain with us for a year, we reimburse you for future domain renewal fees. Even if you have a portfolio of over a hundred to several thousand unused domains"

Anyone knows them?

Reporting spam to internet.bs won't get you anywhere. There are some domain registrars who are very active on stopping spam, internet.bs is not one of them.

My recommendation is to the hosting company, based on the ip range. But even better is who owns the ip addresses.

Submit it to spamhaus and spamcop.net.

They will stop.

How do you know that we do NOT act on qualified spam reports? Do you have an idea of how many domains we have under management and how ridiculous, proportionally, is the share of them being abused?

I have no hesitation in stating that we are possibly one of the most active Registrar totally AGAINST spammers, cyberfrauds, phishing and alike. As soon as a domain is reported by an established anti-spam organisation such as Spamhaus we promptly and IMMEDIATELY suspend it. The case could be slightly different when the report is coming from an end user AND when we have to invest time and researches to validate the claim.
You should also note that we do NOT currently offer hosting, nor we offer ISP services, as such SPAM is technically NEVER generated from our networks. We do understand that the domain used as source of spam could be one of many hundred of thousand registered using our Registrar, however because we do NOT offer SMTP delivery services to our customers, it is difficult to validate spamming claims that are instead easily verifiable by the hosting company.
Note also that because the SPAM cannot technically be generated using our network, the fact of suspending a domain would not imply that the spamming activity perpetrated by the abuser will cease. Spammers are getting more and more sophisticated, they know that the live span of a domain used for spamming is extremely short, as soon a domain used for spamming is suspended they will simply move to the next one and they will continue spamming, they have even automated the task and they automatically detect when a domain has been suspended and they update their spamming scripts in realtime.
In order to effectively stop a spammer a filter has to be implemented at the ISP level as you have somehow suggested, from where the spammer is sending spam. Most spammers don't even care about the domain name used to spam, they use an infinite amount of redirections and they simply promote a product or service, they know that if the message is not read within a few hours, it won't be effective and thus they send dozen of millions of emails as it costs them nothing. Once again, the main concern is not the domain, that anyway we promptly suspend, but rather the ISP or source network, including botnets allowing spammers to send dozen of millions of emails per day...

Marco - I would actually like to apologize, I see that internet.bs has changed there policies on spamming now. I was basing my opinion on previous reports that you did nothing and some reports that usually come out the week before ICANN meetings. :)

We have met a few times in the past. Good luck in the future.
