hello , i have a question :
i've payed those 4.99 $ at tdnam.com for a year account and i've listed my few domain names at the speciffic categories but still no offer :(; i wonder if i pay 10$ for a category showcase for 3 months i will have more chances to sell the name ; i talk in general terms, not necessarly for a certain name;
in my oppinion that wouldnt increase the chances to sell it very much because who really want to buy some looks through all listings not anly featured/ showcase ones. am i right guys?
on the other hand , what is the traffic for tdnam.com? is it a well trafficed site?
more than namepros? anyone knows?

thank you!!!

Honestly, I dont recommend selling domain names at TDNAM - you'll find more success at Sedo, Afternic, Ebay, and the Forusm. TDNAM is a great resource to buy expired domain names from GoDaddy, but thats about all it is really good for. Do not pay for the category listing, its a waste of your time and money.

You'd probably just be wasting your money. I wouldn't recommend paying for the showcase listing at TDNAM as there are better ways to use that same money to promote your domain more effectively.

I'd first use the free option: advertise here and at other domain forums. If that doesn't help you get your domain(s) sold, then try listing at Sedo. I personally would stay away from Afternic due to the membership fee and the fact I have a personal bias against the new owners of the company. I wouldn't recommend listing on ebay unless you have generated hype for the domain on domain forums. Generally, domains at ebay do not sell very well unless they are hyped (or very high quality domains).

My best advice is to not rely on any single place to sell your domains. The more places that you have your domains for sale the more opportunities buyers have to find you. I use all of the following:

- TDNam.com - minimum $5 commission is good but they are very slow to pay
- Afternic.com
- Afternic Bazaar - great for low priced listings.
- Sedo
- this forum

I paid for TDNAM and yet I never list anything there. I have in the past but it's pointless. Once my subscription expires, I'm done with it. Unless I happen to want to buy a domain I see there some day, then I'll pay the money just so I can bid on it, but thats doubtful.

For being #1 in the domain business, GoDaddy severely drops the ball with TDNAM.

yep, i totally agree. GD is not worth the light of day with TDNAM. I'm not sure why they are dropping the ball there, but fact remains that they do.
Personally, i'd go with Sedo and eBay, depending on the quality of the domain. Ultimately, for any domain auctions, the more hype the better.

TDNAM is just a mess right now. There's so many horrible domains on there, it's hard for potential buyers to sift through the crap to find your name.

Am I the only guy that sells names on TDNAM?

For names in the $xxx bracket, I rate them very highly. I have sold 42 names there this year - none at Sedo. Same names, same starting prices - go figure...

People complain about them taking 30+ days to pay - I see that as a small negative compared to the low fees, just 5% upto $500 and 7.5% over $500.

As for paying for a listing, I'd say no, unless you're talking about a (genuine) $xxxx name.

:hi:

I do not believe you can just let your subscription expire.

When you sign up for TDNAM the Terms of Agreement state
that your membership will automatically be renewed.

My membership was just automatically renewed and reference to those
Terms was mentioned in the email they sent me.

You may want to call GoDaddy and tell them you don't want to renew
your membership.

Regards,
Patrick
