A Woman President in 2008?

Even tho Al Gore is expressing a desire to run in 2008, my guess is it's pretty much a given Hillary will get the Demo nod... now who to run against her? Who will the Republicans field?

Cheney's health is too "iffy".. what about McCain? What about Powell?

Were I in charge, I'd field Rice, tho McCain is also a good bet (Powell probably wouldn't run anyway)... who would you choose?

Condolezza Rice could be the next vice president imo,And would a fine one
aswell.

Other than condo rice,I don't see a women canidate winning any part of the whitehouse,Gawd the thought of hilliary being elected scares me to death.

I'll take Al Gore over Hilliary any day,Just so the house and senate stay majority republican,Then it really doesn't matter,Either of those two demo canidates would just sit and be able to do minimal damage just as clinton did through out thier term if voted in.

I can't stand Gore but I'd much rather have him over Hillary. I don't think Hillary would get it to be honest because people know how far left she is. She's playing the game well to try and sprint to the middle before '08 but she won't make it. I'm hoping another Dem will take her out in the primary but we'll see.

As for the Reps, I don't know who will be in the running yet. There are many names being tossed around but I think they'll put together a good candidate all in time. Personally, I'd love to see a combo with Powell in it but I don't like McCain and I just don't think Rice will run yet. I like her, though, and would love to see her as a VP.

There is 0% chance of either Hilary Clinton or Condaleeza Rice heading their party in the 2008 elections. No chance at all.

I doubt she'd get nominated. They want a President in the House, and not only do they have to hope people beleive she'd be a better President, but also that it's time for a women to take the job. The way I see it they've got it twice the chance at loosing going with her.
