"General" rule of thumb #1:
If it's not reg'ed it's worth "reg fee" undeveloped. If it's a catchy name, and you plan on developing/marketing it, then the sky's the limit!
"General" rule of thumb #2:
If it's registered, in pending delete, and it's not booked at NW/SnapNames/GoDaddy or any other drop service where you can see availability..."reg fee" undeveloped. If it's a catchy name, and you plan on developing/marketing it, then the sky's the limit!
"General" rule of thumb #3:
If it's registered, in on-hold/redemption period, do some investigating, OVT/Alexa/LinkPop etc. Might be a gem.
If you want to PM me name I'll give you an opinion, no worries about me hawking it
Hahaha, to be honest, I sometimes have the same concern as well! I would personally PM CoolHost for advice, there are other members on this board that are very trustworthy too, but CoolHost comes to my mind first ^^
hehe. me too. Figure most of the membership wouldn't snake a good name from you (bye-bye credibility), but this is an open forum and, as such, never know who's lurking out there...
i agree there are probably hundreds of trust worthy members ,out there but on the other hand there are probably a few who would stiff you in a heart beat , to some people its not about buying a domain and devloping or reselling . its about how they can be the next big sale on sedo or afternic . i understand this is a money game but i believe some people go to far and will do anything to get a domain they want either by fishing around in forums to see what they can steal from the Domain Name Discussion such as this one . or by any other means
BE SAFE its a jungle out there
My input was given via pm and its a really nice name to own. I asked him if he doesnt take it if it was ok if I did. He is going to sleep over it. I think he will take it. I hope nobody regs it by then
