A standard?

What's the standard multiple for selling a domain based on the domains earnings?
I see many posted domains for sale at a couple of times what a name earns in a year & other post waaay above.

Do you price based on a standard multiple + additional for highly trafficked domains?

I know that most try to factor in many variables when pricing their domains for sale, do you have your own method of pricing that has worked well?

Obviously we are not talking end-user here, as I'm all sure that we hope they just have to have that name and a full checking account. :)

You can generally base your price off your yearly revenue. If you earn $100 a year off the name, it would not be unreasonable to ask for $300-$500
