A quick question about development

Hello Folks,

I want to buy a template from template monster.com or any other template site. But i am a newbie and i have no idea how to go about it. Is it easy to edit the template on Mac.

I have few following questions:

1. Do you need a software to edit the template?
2. Do you need to be a pro to do the editing and putting content in it?
3. Which one is better, wordpress or PHP?

Wordpress is a good route if you don't want to edit html and PHP.

They typically give you editing options through the Wordpress control panel such as logo upload, color changes, etc with professional Wordpress themes. You can also try StudioPress.com
