.mobi A New Mobile Wordpress Plug-In with Admob

I have been using Wordpress on some of my other .mobi sites.. great and easy site framework to invest in; as, more and more plug-ins are being developed..

I will try this new one I just read about at:

Yes, I am happy

This scores a sweet 5 of 5 on ready.mobi

I’m trying to run this plug in on Interfaith.mobi..
I am having issues with the admob ads not showing up..

Am I using the right Admob Publisher ID? (I am using the number in the code under my old worldradio.mobi site’s admob code a14610c39cbe342 etc.)

Otherwise, I don’t know why my admob ads aren’t showing up on Interfaith.mobi after filling out the Options page for mobile wordpress plugin

Anybody else trying this out.. and how is your experience?

It's a great feeling once that plugin is activated in the control panel, it renders 5/5 ready.mobi pages..

But, have any of you guys experienced issues with the ads section not showing up on the ready.mobi emulator?

I have filled out the form box for admob publisher ID etc., but mine is still not showing up..

..anybody, how was your experience?


Yes, this one apparently is an upgrade from the others in past.. I guess it will only get better.. as far as SEO goes it says:

SEO friendly titles and H1 tags
The plugin tries to use distinct titles and page headlines throughout to ensure the best ‘on deck’ SEO possible.

It’s a good idea to submit a mobile site map to Google so it knows to show mobile results to mobile browsers and web results to web browsers. This should iron out indexing issues that multi-rendering markup can cause such as mobile results turning up in web searches. This mobile plugin is more SEO friendly than others.

Yelo, rep added! Mobile compatible CMSes are very rare, and I had yet to see a package that generates fully valid code that scores a 5/5 on ready.mobi. Great stuff! I've been looking for something like this for AGES...

This should encourage more people to register and develop .mobi's. Hand coding is really a drag sometimes... And it's back to the regging stand for me! :lol:

Andy seems to be doing quite well for himself

I have actually used this plug-in on a couple of wordpress sites,
but it doesn't seem to work 100% for me.
I think this is WP and not the plug-in though.

Anyhow, I am ditching WP and going back to Drupal -
I developed a mobile module, called the "accessibility module".

I couldn't get the f*ing thing uploaded to CVS at Drupal last time so an older version is available at accessibility module.

Please note that that there is a new version for Drupal v4.7x coming soon,
and brand new for Drupal v5.1x in the coming weeks.
