Interesting....I had recently written an article on the quality of .net dropping each day, might be an opportunity for some.

I sold many .net domain names since 2006
The highest was CreditCard.net which was sold for $138,000 USD in 2011
The last .net I sold was WebHostingReviews.net for $6,900 in 2013 and I don’t own any .net since then.
I have to say the good time for .net has gone several years ago, I personally would stay away from .net domain names today unless they are ultra premium but super cheap.
