Hey,

For a while now, i'v being using Dreamit.co.uk, thinking the template was fine.
Then, yesterday, someone pointed out, it is messed up in IE.

Well, i thought it might just be his browser, as it looks fine in my IE.
So, i asked someone on my MSN, he got the messed up version too...

So, i went onto brothers laptop , and it looked fine on his too!

However, it seems the problem still persists.

So, if you could take a look at www.dreamit.co.uk in IE, and tell me if it looks like this image, i would be greatful.

Also, if it is like the above, if you know how to fix it? That would be great too.

This is how the site should look - http://img97.imageshack.us/img97/8692/shouldrd4.jpg
It looks like that in FireFox.

Oh, also, in the Wordpress admin panel, there is 2 .css files, stylesheet and ie.

Looks like the ie.css file doesn't work then. :(

Thanks.

Adrian

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
.US domains.US domains
Working fine here
I tried different 'Text Size' options in IE in hopes to find out whats messing it
up but it still worked fine

Good luck in fixing it :)

If you mess around with different screen resolutions you can get it to break in IE.

800 x 600 and 1024 x 768 look fine in both IE and Firefox.

That layout is going to break on any of the larger resolutions due to the sheet fact that it has a static background image centered on a horizontally-expanding layout. You need to either place a width/max-width on your wrapper, or find a different route to implement that background image (it is very tough to keep the layout stretching if you want to use a background, however). Not to mention at a quick glance in your CSS I notice in some cases youve got multiple backgrounds applied to the same element and several other "no-no's".
