This is very funny and all, but it goes to show it is possible for Google to modify their search results without too much trouble. I think this is very unprofessional and for those of us working our butts off to get better Google search results it's a slap in the face.

You should read the sponsored link on that page that explains the reason that was the first result turned in by google:

I am not sure I would just assume they altered the search results.

Ok, all well and good, but if a Corporate site Googlebombed themselves to get at the top of a listing wouldn't they be banned? I don't buy it.

Yeah the read is in 9/2005. But I am sure there is still enough editing going on with Google. Everyone questions Googles Indexing on a daily basis so whats new.
