Hello everyone!
I've actually made a few posts here already, but have not taken the time to introduce myself.
I first started on the web building a site for my dance studio. I am a ballroom dance teacher on the side. I went on to build sites for many prominent vendors in that industry. And from there I started getting involved in other ventures outside the industry.
Now I do sales here in Atlanta, but also have a salesperson in LA and another in South Florida. I also employ 2 programmers, 1 designer and one SEO person, plus several part timers and contract workers as well. I have no shortage of work, but I always have to carefully manage the jobs I choose to accept and the costs associated. I've worked hard to get to this point and hope to take a long needed vacation in September.
My latest project is actually an open source contribution called PHP Link Directory. It is something that I have developed over the last couple of years, and finally decided a few months ago that it was worth giving to others. The response has been wonderful so far. I'm not profitting from it right now, but I really enjoy managing the project and making it better.
