That's right, It's July 5th, which means I am a day late in posting this, and (Although this has nothing to do with the rest of the post) quite a few dollars short of my vB license.
America how ever is years late and billions short of ending the war in Iraq.
I am posting this, for a good friend of mine, who has been turned down by the government, and is funding the entire project by himself.
The website I am trying to help promote is AmericanAgility.com.
Russell Strong, the man behind it all, has been an industrial engineer all of his life, and creates and designs tractors, trucks, and other heavy machines for his own company as well as companies such as CAT and Deer Co.
His latest project, "The Jake" was self funded, and was all made as a tribute to his nephew, Jessie, who lost his life in the war in January of 2005.
This thing is truly the coolest thing I've ever seen. I got to drive it, and it is like a big toy, joysticks and all. There is only one Jake currently in existence, as they take a lot of time, and money to produce, and Russell has been turned down by the US Government for financing, despite the many soldiers who have tested, and all agree this will help.
I am asking you to help out Russell, AmericanAgility.com, and The Jake, by digging, stumbling, linking, ect. Anything you can do to help, is making this thing one step closer to actually being on the battle field. If you have a few spare dollars, it would be cool if you could donate too, but it is not necessary at all.
If you would like to visit the site, here is a link.
If you would like to donate, here is the link to his store.
If you would like to donate to my "vB Fund", you can do so by purchasing any one of these names, if you mention this thread, get 25% off of your order!
Thank you for reading, and please help out best you can! If you do Digg or Stumble, please post the link here, so we all can too!
Thanks again,
Ryan

Jake can provide our soldiers increased IED and sniper protection, support with their heavy gear and the ability to move it rapidly. Jake is agility for our Soldiers and Marines to adapt with new tactics on the ground.
Jake is their 2,800 lb. “manned/unmanned Category III Exoskeleton”, on 2WD, 4WD, 6WD or tracks. In video-gaming terms, it is new levels of remote teaming readily understood by our youngest soldiers. In strategic terms for our nation, it enables the balance of deterrence, diplomacy and logistics necessary to bring a large proportion of our troops home while maintaining regional stability that is so critical to the freedoms of so many.
