Hi All,

I am a relative noob to the domain name business... I have about 15 registered domain names right now, I am a webmaster, too, so I usually only buy names that I feel I can develop, or at least ones that have potential. These two seem to have a lot of potential, I would sell them because I do not have the time or expertise to develop proper sites.

Please appraise:

Thanks!

Both of them are nice names, could bring some nice three figure income if sold to right person who will be willing to develop them.

Just so you know, in Canada there was recently an update to the privacy that tightened things up. A site on the changes the made there and the new responsibilities of businesses may be beneficial.

How would one go about finding out more on this? One of the things I am trying to learn is how to market my domain names to the right people. The buyers you want are not usually on these forums, at least I don't think so...

great advice...

Thanks Jeanco,

I will start sending out emails for sure... Have you had any success cold-calling companies in the past?

offer made...

Hi,

I was just offered mid $xx for one of these two domain names (the better one ;))

I think it is worth more than that, I am planning on rejecting the first offer, should I counter offer or wait for another offer? I am not really sure how to handle this...

I'd reject that amount, and let the person know what your looking to get. Personally, I'd be looking for about $150-$200 for this domain.

As far as cold-calling companies I really haven't done enough of that to let you know. I tried it with one domain when I was new to the business with no success, but I also know of a few people who have great success doing the same thing.

I think its a hit-or-miss thing. Good luck.
