try to do some research about the domain... look for names that are thoes types, their prices and availability etc etc.. try to analyze the buyer if they can "afford"... it's also worth to consider not to dissapoint them with too much overpricing...or else, they might go somewhere else.

Just crunching some numbers here.

Google Adwords rate is $2 to $6US per click for key words Alaskan cruise, Alaskan vacations, Alaskan hotels. A developed site with Google Adsense ads that gets let say $3 per click avg. x 10 clicks per day x 30 days per mth = $900US per month. This is revenue from Google Adsense alone without the potential of other advertising revenue. I would think this name would be worth more than $10,000 since minimal advertising revenue would pay it off within the year. Canadians and Australians say holiday also, like "where yu going on holidays eh".

I think so much of what you sell it for is going to depend on your brokering ability.
Finding out what a prospective client can/will/is willing to pay is the real art to domain sales.
Time to roll up those sleeves.

Please do heed the warnings & make sure this isn't the scam that rears its ugly head every now & then asking you for an appraisal.
Let's put it this way. As an end-user if I want to buy a name for my specific business I don't care what an appraisal says. I only care about what I feel this name can do for my business & NO appraisal is going to tell me that. That is research & gut.

They have a least 30 employees. I would guess no more than 2 million in sales per year. I wish it was Princess Cruise Line interested in buying.
