1 hyphen too many. A-A-A.com would have been $xxx but I can't see any value in this one.

Regfee. To many hyphens for now...

This is a limited niche domain name. Only 26 possibles... and to make it even more rare, it's quad vowel, which makes it one of 5.

For now $25-45

Hang onto it for a while.

This is one of those domains where developers won't see any value in using it, yet it probably has senseless domain collector value.

A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A.COM fits the same criteria. Is that worth $25-$45 ?

^^^ This sums it up well. You can probably remove the phrase 'for now'. IMO

I donโ€™t see any value in the name, not even reg fee. Excessively hyphenated domain names are the trademark of fishy and spamming websites.

Whoa mules!!! I just bought it for the novelty. I have no need or plans to develop it. But saying A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A.com fits the same criteria is like saying AAAAAA.com fits the same criteria as AAAA.com.

Regarding "senseless domain collector value," there's no such thing. I've sold at least 100 gold coins to collectors and just as many Pez containers. "Value" almost always has a subjective, emotional component that complements the objective component. There's nothing senseless about collecting anything.

I guess if I ever decide to sell it, and someone decides to buy it, then I'll know exactly what it's worth. Don't be so absolute in your thinking. Things are almost never black OR white.

Thanks for your opinions!!!

Chas

Could a Mod close out this thread for me ?? Thanks.

A domain is worth what someone would pay for them.

I agree with the assessment - $25-45 is pretty accurate based on the market.

Would you be requesting that the thread be removed had you been showered with praise?

Let me elaborate on that. End user developer value should dictate the price of all domains. That is common sense, and it usually holds true.... Except for things like L-L-L, most LLLL's, LL-L, etc... Developers don't want them, yet they retain an inflated value within the domainer community where they are commonly bought and sold. Why? That is what I call "senseless domain collector value."

Praise? For buying a domain? Lose the big ego DubDub. You're telling on yourself.

Does it gets any traffic???

Agree with others regfee..

A domain collector might pay you something more...

A-A-A-A-A-A.com, A-A-A-A-A-A-A.com, A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A.com...........................are still available to register.. ;)

Good Luck!!

warner bros owns w-o-r-d dot net. So that has to be 1 for the hyphen column.

People collect domains just as they do coins, stamps, etc. A Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle selling for above bullion value doesn't mean the buyer is irrational just like a domainer isn't necessarily irrational for wanting a domain for reasons other than to develop it or resell it.

I have to side with Jennifer on this one -- it's a rare domain being a quad repeat vowel and being about the max length before hyphens start getting annoying. As some have noted, A-A-A.com-type domains do have well established aftermarkets, so this was a fairly safe reg imho which does have future potential.
