DOMAIN SALES

Jkkl.com was sold for ¥18,500 CNY. JKKL was short for pinyin, JianKangKuaiLe, meaning healthy and happy in Chinese.

SZW.com was sold for a mid-six figure CNY price (around $75k USD).

ZLS.com was acquired by Chinese Domainer Zhongsheng for a seven-figure CNY price (over $150K USD).

959.com was sold for over $500K USD, the buyer seems to be a Chinese buyer.

Muxing acquired three pinyin domains, which are yuwan.com (fish ball), guantou.com (can),duandai.com (short-term loan).

OTHERS

Yesterday, news came that LeMall (lemall.com), a division of leEco (le.com) is going to acquire Amazon China (amazon.cn, z.cn). This morning, Amazon clarified that they have long-term strategic plans and commitments to Chinese market, indicating that the former news is rumor.

gg.cn was once traded for ¥2,040,000 CNY. Now it has been built into a board game website.

According to Chaomi.cc, on 18th Aug., the total volume was 12,063 domains, and the total turnover was ¥1,451,102 CNY (approximately $217k USD).
