question 900+ domains! would you list on Namejet?(List) or Sedo?

Ok guys. this is not a request for appraisal. But a question of which domains should be put for auction on Namejet and which should be be sent to Sedo. having a hard time deciding.

If I send to Namejet. I don't need to pay for anything unless I get a bid. and these are all regged with Dotster during last year's $1.99 special.

If I send to Sedo. I'll have to pay $59 to send to auction or post it to the Sedo Thread I created on NP and hope someone here will give a $100 bid to allow me to send it to free Sedo auction.

(BSN stands for Bachelor's of Science in Nursing. It's a big market in the USA as now nurses need to complete a BSN to get a job in a hospital.) (for Mature themed domains omitted from this list PM me)

I was kinda hoping some pros would help me cherry pick which ones have better chance of selling for better money on Sedo as opposed to Namejet. but I think the list is just too big and people got better things to do. so it's better they just say they all suck and don't have to cherry pick. lol

I have found that NJ users tend to be interested in LLLL type names and cutting edge technology type names.

You have some very good names. I think your list would be best suited for GD auctions. GD is moving a ton of names.

Put them all there (doesn't)matter where they are regged, and maybe promote small batches at a time.

This just in. Was about to sleep when I saw that a VP over at Qualcomm just accepted my connection request on LinkedIn? But the best part? My connection request specifically said I'm interested in selling my domains to Qualcomm. Now most times my connection request just end up being clicked as " I don't know" this fat guy!

But this one accepted ?

The domains I mentioned we're 5G domains like

Anything under $5K can easily be bought by these guys through company credit cards.
Try and make relevant bulk offers of $4900 something each. Club some relevant n similar domains together and sell them in lots.

The temptation to " go for gold" is too much sometimes. That's how I lost a bite on a couple domains.

if they have a free spot and ask to feature the top of them to "Hot Picks".

At the end of any strategy you chose, you need to reassess and see
what would be the next best move.

I'd be happy with low to mid $x,xxx on 10 on a couple. 10 out of 900? I like those odds.

It's like putting chips on all the boxes on the roulette table and tripling down on a few.

But I do remember someone on here on another thread saying if you start an auction anywhere never fight against yourself meaning don't put similar domains at auction.

Kinda like putting blinders on a horse. You want them focused on just one domain of yours in the niche they want.

Don't give them too many choices so I'll need to take some off before I submit to namejet today.

At least the ones I know will sell for good money.

alright so removed all the domains that expired in december. got some time there. might list those on Sedo instead. plus a couple that I'll try to sell on Sedo too that I think have a better shot over there.

so after shedding the fat my list of 900 became about 400+ but under 500.

thee other 400 were december expiration.

also I completely forgot about social media promotions. I've got 60 days of hashtagging to do from now till november.

any ideas what kind of examples of hashtags I should use to get the word out on this "Bulk" domain auction? to get eyes on this portfolio?

Good news though. reached out to Domainer Big shot and he gave me his personal email. Told him. I'm liquidating my inventory and I'll take $69 bids on these domains and be happy.

he said he'll take a look. not gonna say who. big he's BIG! lol

you can check the list after november and see the whois and who bought some of these on this list. he seemed interested showing me a partial list.

I think I'll reach out to the other Big Boys. see if they are interested.

I'm also going to mix in numeric .com domains that weren't $1.99 that aren't Expiring same times as the first batch.

For 900+ domains I'm really seriously considering "going all out " for promotions like press releases.

But I won't be promoting the auction itself. But the domain I want to have tons of backlinks to DNPremium.

And on that blog. Mention the auction of 900+ domains.


And since ( I'm advised) I need the press release to be newsworthy or even viral so it will get picked up.

In our experience namejet is a waste of time. we list roughly 200 names a month there and even one word domains never reach decent prices. Unless you are part of the group of members that namejet promotes your names wont sell. we have sold roughly 10 names on namejet and all have been at cost or a lost after commission fees. spray and pray method at namejet is not a good strategy.....better to focus on a group of good names and auction on flippa or do some email outreach. of course having a domain store helps.

What we did notice is listing your names in auction promotes the name and results in a few offers after the auction if you have a good lander in place.

yea I like it because everytime you check namebio for certain keywords. Sedo always blows out godaddy and namejet sales.

problem is. Namebio doesn't distinguish sales as auction sale or Sedo regular sales via buyer reaching out to seller via Sedo.

These are insane prices, if you want to sell domains, you must price them properly, these are prices for single word premium .com names.

Put them up at $1500-$3000 and see if you get any takers, if not, drop the price a little.
