9-11 Coming Up. Doing anything special?

Hey,

9-11's anniversary is coming up and I was just wondering if anybody here (particularly from the US, but other nations as well) is doing anything special... like visiting a cemetary, or a family gathering if you lost a loved one?

For 9-11, each year I make some sort of different tribute. This year it's a flash animation. Really cool. In the past I've written a poem (which some of you have seen) and a powerpoint (probably NOT have seen that), which is equally awesome.

I will be posting all 3 things this Sept. 11 (i hope).

So how about you?

My friend is flying home that day (return trip from the West Coast) ... I plan on either donating blood and/or dropping off some clothes to the Salvation Army -and- calling some loved ones and friends whom I haven't spoken to in a while - for one reason or another, been too busy, etc. - and saying hello and to tell them how much they mean to me (and my family), IMHO.
Still, wish I could do more!

I normally go to a swim meet, done that ever since with the only year I haven't last year when the highschool team was suppose to go to a meet but was worryed about Ivan(it was just off shore and so they didn't want us getting stuck in traffic coming back). This year I'll be at a swim meet on Saturday 9/10 and spend 9/11 with my family.

Its my birthday on the 12th, on the 11th the school has a 2 mins silence
